MMy aim is to support and empower my clients in understanding what works best for them nutritionally. There is so much information available to us about nutrition, often conflicting, that it is easy to feel inadequate, confused and just give up not knowing what to do.

In a broad sense, the answer is that for all of us eating well means eating whole food real food. However, we also have to acknowledge that we are all individuals with different generic make up, life style, gut bacteria, stress levels and health challenges.

Upon completion of my 8 weeks programme you will know what you are made of and what are targeted and specific dietary changes can make a big difference to your health, energy level and wellbeing.

Let me show you how these changes can then become a habit and be incorporate into your life. All of this by being kind and fun. Healthy living shouldn’t be painful or boring.

My Journey - Gwen Gibson

OOne day and by chance, I read an article describing how I could find my ‘true calling’ by looking at what I was already naturally interested in.

Well, first of all, I loved and still love real food! I was brought up in France and growing up everything was freshly cooked and full of flavours. Later on in life, well before Nutrition was so fashionable, I always seemed to be reading books and magazines about Health.

I made the big a decision to give up a career in management and focus instead on studying nutrition with the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in Richmond London where I completed the 4-year Diploma in Nutritional Therapy.

Since I graduated my family, friends and clients have all greatly benefited from the knowledge that I have gained. From better energy, mood, digestion, weight management and a better understanding on of how to support their health goals.

There are no drugs in our house as food is always our first medicine. When we have a cold we use ginger and apple shots, turmeric, Echinacea. Tummy pain, just plain warm water and easy to digest foods or we just wait and it will pass. I feel empowered and in control of our health

I am now also very passionate about sharing my understanding of the effects food can have on our health.

I now run the BKind Nutrition clinic and I also work for Nuffield Health where I do one to one consultation and also run a very successful 12 weeks Healthy Weight Programme

How Do I Work

IIn a typical nutritional therapy consultation, I will assess your general health, family and health history, dietary habits, digestive function and lifestyle.

cauli asideI will then devise a dietary and lifestyle plan suitable for your individual circumstances with the aim of addressing your health goals. This may include dietary adjustments, suggestions for dietary support, lifestyle changes and food or supplement recommendations. This is not a one size fits all.

Certain conditions will also benefit from further tests that I can interpret for you. A number of laboratories make these test available to NT. The results will help us understand better some of the factors which may be contributing to ill-heath.

Together we will implement small changes.

The aim is to empower you to adopt a better way of eating that over time becomes a natural habit of life, not a short-term commitment (no diet fads here!).

When working with clients, I recognise that we are all unique and this is not a one size fits all.

Boost Your Children’s Gut Health

The Microbiome (defined as the microbes that live inside and on the human body) weight is about 3 to 5 pounds per person these bacteria help control our immune system, determining whether your child has an allergic reaction to a peanut and how effectively she fights off a cold virus. The gut microbiome plays a very important role in your health by helping control digestion and benefiting your immune system and many other aspects of health.

How might your gut health affect your weight?.

In 2012 the human microbiome was fully mapped and identified the multiple microbes that live in and on the human body. Our gut is where the largest concentration of microbes live in.

I have been seeing so many women with hormonal issues and I want to help.

You suspect that your hormones are not working the way they should be. You may feel tired but wired at times, moody tearful or angry, irritated for no apparent reasons, hot flushes or not sleeping.
